Renaming the Fan programming language?

I've recently started a poll to discuss the possibility of renaming the Fan programming language. The reason for a possible name change is simple - you can't google "Fan" and get hits about the language, and you never will (unlike Java).

If you're interested in this new language at all, please take the poll. We're also gathering alternative names, which you can leave in comments here if you prefer.

    I'd say Java is more ambiguous than Fan, it's only because the 15 year old history of the former now has saturated the Internet.

    More to the point, how about C:* (C KISS), or Finc (Finc is not C).

    Since Fan get the best idea and inspiration from its progenitors, Java and C#, a name that reflects that make it more meaningful and marketable, and better align to what it does.

    Renaming it as
    Cava# programming language sounds nice. This is not yet taken and Google yet to show this term yet.

    The # is used to prevent sound similarity of Java so to avoid Sun's displeasure, and putting # also means that it sways different from naming convention of Microsoft language (C#, F#, J#), making it more distinguishable from the current pack of languages.

    I don't really get the need for changing the name. If you want Fan to grow you have advertise it and SEO only won't make it. It is small thing IMO. Updated wikipedia and other pedias articles, forum posts, good technical blogging, presentations on developer conferences and, the most important I think, killer app would make Fan more popular.
    If SEO matters compete in the "programming language" phrase.
    How would I Google the name when its different when I haven't heard about it? When I want to go to Fan's site and I am a developer I shoud figure out the phrase "fan programming language" or similar, right?

    I'll suggest the same here as I did in the poll: Viffee.

    Fan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fan_(implement)) in norwegian is Vifte. Since this isn't easily pronouncable in english, I dropped the t. To make it sound more energetic I doubled the fs and es. The domain is available on .com .org and .net, as the word doesn't really mean anything at all.

    Or why not take inspiration after the original name for Java (Oak) and use a tree:

    Or after music:

    Harmony
    Alto
    Animato
    Forte
    Meter
    Shake
